ONE DAY WORKSHOPS

QUILLING WORKSHOP

Come to a class to learn the fine art of rolling strips of colored paper into various forms and shapes to create beautiful designs or decorate cards, boxes, pictures, or jewelry.

You will complete either a cross or a snowflake in a 2-hour workshop.  The workshop will cover the two most commonly used shapes in making designs and flowers.

Discussion about the types of papers and the many ways quilling is used as well as other shapes and tools will be demonstrated.

A kit – not included in the class fee – of the basic tools and paper for the project is available on Amazon (see picture below).  When selecting your kit make sure your paper is 3mm wide.  Some kits offer more tools that you might use but don’t necessarily need for starting out.
Note: You are not obligated to buy this kit, however, you will need the tools to do the project.  Other kits are available on line but may contain tools not needed to get started.  Please let me know if you are unable to obtain all the tools needed.

Items to bring –Quick drying white glue (Aleene’s Quick Dry Tacky Glue if not in your kit)
