Cost:

$90.00 / month

Who should take the class:

Anyone who wants instruction on how to classically draw (or paint) the human figure.  The class is set up for students who want to devote time in 2026 to significantly improve their skills and to be able to execute figure drawings with much more confidence.

What to expect during the class:

1. Instruction and demonstration:  Classical figure drawing terms, concepts and approach.   Instructor demonstration of the four key steps to drawing the figure that demonstrates the four-step drawing method

2. Practice the concepts:  Students will practice and draw from a live model, thereby putting into practice the class concepts.  Instructor will provide individual critique and guidance during class.

3. Outside of class: Individual guidance and critique (two 30-minute 1-on-1 sessions via GoogleMeet)

Students will continue to refine their drawing with the same pose for three months.  The student can then work on the drawing independently between the monthly classes.

PAPER FLOWER WORKSHOP

Instructor:  Shannon Mason

Have a place in your house that needs a little color, a nice vase asking for some flowers to show off, a holiday season to decorate, maybe a friend that needs some cheering up or a loved one to give a special hand-made flower?

Crepe paper flowers can give a burst of color that is very unique and lasts much longer than a real flower, and they’re not difficult to make.  It is a very creative and fun craft giving you lots of compliments when you are done.

In this workshop you will make a camellia flower and bud.  I will give you the basics of flower making so that you can continue to make many other flowers of your choice.  All materials to complete the flower and bud will be provided for you. You will be asked to bring some tools and supplies for the workshop upon registration.  I will list color choices that you may choose for your flower once you sign up.

I hope to see you there, and let’s have some flower making fun!
